And just like that, Advantage Business Support is one year old!

As we raise a toast to our first anniversary, we find ourselves reflecting on the journey that led to the creation of Advantage Business Support. It’s a tale of friendship, professional collaboration, and a real passion for the intricate details that make businesses thrive. Here is the story of how it all began.

The Predictive Advantage (and The Predictive Index) connection

Advantage Business Support is the brainchild of two colleagues and close friends. Sarah and Sabine shared more than a decade-long journey at Predictive Advantage SA, an esteemed international management consultancy firm. Their mission was to help clients align their business strategy with their people strategy by leveraging scientific people data such as The Predictive Index. Throughout those ten years, Sabine and Sarah played pivotal roles in supporting a diverse group of independent Consultants across Europe. From seminar coordination to database maintenance, invoicing, client support, and marketing assistance, we immersed ourselves in the world of administrative tasks, ensuring the seamless operation of the consultancy. Sarah also joined the panel of directors, and Sabine took on the role of Marketing Manager.

The turning point

When the proprietor of Predictive Advantage decided to retire, we reached a significant turning point in our professional lives. The bonds we had forged with the Leadership and Business Consultants and Coaches at Predictive Advantage went beyond the confines of the consultancy. As news of the retirement spread, many of our existing contacts reached out, expressing their desire to continue working with us. It was heartening to realise that our dedication had not only contributed to the success of Predictive Advantage but had also established a foundation of trust with the group.

Hello Advantage Business Support!

It was amidst these enquiries and requests for continued collaboration that the idea of Advantage Business Support began to take shape. Based on our extensive experience in project management, handling client interactions, training events, marketing projects, and basic bookkeeping, streamlining admin processes (the list goes on!) for entrepreneurs in the realm of leadership and business development, we saw an opportunity to embark on a new adventure.

Advantage Business Support was born! Well, once we had finally decided on a name. It was obvious in the end, as we really wanted to keep the link to Predictive Advantage and also convey what we do…supporting businesses!

Our business philosophy

Advantage Business Support was founded on the principle that business success lies in the details. We take pride in being the behind-the-scenes architects of organisational and operational efficiency. This allows our clients to focus on what they are best at: growing their businesses away from niggly admin tasks and overflowing inboxes.

From the intricacies of training and workshop coordination to the meticulousness of database maintenance and the finesse of client and marketing support, our passion lies in handling the nuances that make businesses flourish. We love detail! And we love the idea that we give our clients the gift of time to concentrate on the bigger picture – or to spend more time with their loved ones.

For many of our clients, we have become a reliable and flexible extension of their business operations – without the need to find and keep an employee busy. We have taken the time to really understand what they and their businesses need, and we treat them like we would our own.
